Who qualifies for the Modus trade program?
Businesses that furnish spaces for clients or guests: interior designers, home stagers, short-term and vacation rental managers, corporate housing and furnished apartment providers, home builders, developers and set designers.
What do I need to apply?
Your business details, federal tax ID, how you'd like to pay and the names of three companies you buy from. You don't need a website account first. If you're buying for resale, add your state resale number and certificate. Asking for Net Receipt terms adds a few credit questions.
Can I buy tax-exempt?
Yes. If you're buying for resale, upload your resale certificate with your application. We accept multi-state certificates.
Is there a membership fee or minimum order?
No. There are no membership fees, no minimum order and no credit card fees.
How long does approval take?
We review applications within 2 business days and email you once your account is approved.
How does trade pricing work?
When you're signed in to an approved account, every product shows your wholesale price, and that's the price you pay at checkout.
How do I know what's in stock?
Every product page shows live stock. If an item is on order, you'll see its expected arrival date.
Where do you deliver?
To any business address in the lower 48 states, shipped from our distribution center in Fontana, California. One trade account can ship to several business addresses.
What does Modus make?
Case goods for the bedroom, dining room and home office: beds, nightstands, dressers, chests, dining tables, chairs and stools, sideboards, desks, bookcases and occasional tables.
Can I see the furniture in person?
Yes. We have trade-only showrooms at High Point Market and Las Vegas Market, open during markets and by appointment.
