Tabouret de bar en bois massif Yosemite dans un café

The Yosemite collection recreates the improvised, utilitarian look of early 20th century factory furniture. Crafted from solid wood and plywood, this collection utilizes mortise and tenon frames, tongue and groove tops, and frame and panel sides for strength and durability. Roughhewn planks bear the characteristic saw marks, dents, pits, and random knots of logs milled on the steam powered circular and sash saws of the era. Finally, a rustic black pine finish balances transparency and opacity to showcase imperfections inherent in the timber.

• Made from solid pine
• Backless bar stool with a scooped saddle seat; 300 lbs weight capacity
• X-braced sides and a metal-capped front stretcher that doubles as a footrest
• Exposed bolt heads at the joints add to the turn-of-the-century industrial look
• Cafe finish is a dark gray with just enough opacity to show clearly defined wood grain; low-sheen lacquer enhances depth and accentuates saw marks and rough spots without looking glossy
• Hand-hewn planks are selected and joined to preserve natural saw marks, imperfections and varying depths from the milling process
• Arrives fully assembled
• Solid wood breathes with its environment, so expect some shrinkage, expansion and plank movement over time; this is normal and does not affect structural integrity
